Andrew Harrison Kramer of Granada Hills pleaded guilty this week to one count of conspiracy to distribute at least 1,000 kilograms of marijuana—a federal offense. Kramer was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
Kramer, a former operator of a medical marijuana dispensary in West Hollywood, was accused of shipping marijuana to persons in other states in exchange for large quantities of money. It is believed that Kramer acted with approximately four other persons in carrying out this illegal enterprise.
At his sentencing hearing in the federal court in Los Angeles, Kramer was given the opportunity to speak and he apologized to the court for his actions and pledged to live a law-abiding life in the future.
